But one thing was strange to me it was to see companies advertising in the campus like here a turkish bank.Here a famous swiss company !
And sometimes the companies have to cope with students demonstrations.
Here some students denounced this famous pharmaceutical company for problems of maltreatment in Africa (if I remember well 'cause it was in May 2005).

It is funny to see advertizing on a campus like that...but I suppose it is not uncommon for advertizers to want to appeal to univerity age kids.
moreover this university is full of future turkish elite executives so I guess there is a double aim: to find customers and to attract people in the company.
And also advertizing on the campus is good for the budget of this public university (as somebody told me).
